Composite Materials

CCV is the leader in manufacturing high performance composite panels using Sandwich Engineering Technology.

A CCV composite panel is formed using two sheets of outer facing materials separated and bonded against a specially engineered lightweight solid or honeycomb core material with our proprietary adhesive. CCV’s proprietary adhesive is recognized for delivering the best bond line available in North America.

The performance characteristics of CCV’s innovative composite panel solutions are far superior to those formed using a single substance. They provide a lightweight structural solution with tensile strength allowing for diversity in design for a vast array of industrial and commercial applications.

CCV composite panels meet automotive requirements for straightness and curve capabilities, as well as high-tech manufacturing specifications for flatness.

Composite panels can be rot resistant and moisture proof. Depending on the application, panels can also be engineered with one or more of the following performance characteristics:

-increased strength
-reduced weight
-extreme durability
-improved heat and sound insulation
-vibration dampening

MATERIALS AND PANEL SIZE OPTIONS

CCV offers customers a range of core, facing and coating material options to create the perfect composite panel for your application. The core and facing materials used to build a composite panel are carefully chosen based on the performance requirements of your application.

Facing material options include aluminum, FRP, antiskid FRP, rubber, vinyl, stainless steel, wood and ABS. Additional facing material options may be available upon request.
